About 1870 a Scottish immigrant named Henry Ralston formed San
Francisco's Ralston Iron Works in partnership with his brother John
Ralston. A hundred and thirty years later Henry's great-grandson
John Ralston, in partnership with his Russian immigrant wife Lana,
formed the Ralston
Independent Works (RIW).
Most people think of technology as flowing from West to East. Ralston
Independent Works (RIW) wants to encourage the flow of Russian technology
to the USA. Please read
more about conferences Lana organized in order to facilitate
the trade with Russia.
